Modular Catamaran Houseboat

My houseboat designs generate a lot of interest, but the biggest drawback to getting a houseboat design commission is to find someone, near to where the houseboat will live, who knows how to build it. There are a lot of houseboat builders in the US, but they build more boat than house. This is so that the houseboats will fit on trucks for delivery to the owners. But the fancy houseboats that people want--think wide, tall, and modern--cannot be delivered by truck, at least, not in one piece.

The solution--the Modular Catamaran Houseboat. Two catamaran hulls 4' wide by 40' long can be delivered easily by truck. Set them as wide apart as the house design requires. The houseboat builder can build the house also, in modular form and delivered by truck, or local architects and builders can build stylish houses to fit on cataraman hulls provided by the hull builder.
